I’m a nidan in Bujinkan Dôjô El Salvador and I want to write the term. I’ve found Shidôshi so far but I don’t know what’s the "Ho" like. Any ideas or if you’ve got the answer, do tell. Thank you!!!

I would get Boxings awesome punches and bobbing and weaving, Judos great clinch, throws and ground fighting and Bujinkans dirty techniques or would doing Boxing, Hapkido and Judo be better?

So many people disregard ninjutsu bujinkan, and label it as being crap etc, why is this? why are so many people against it? Is it due to the uncertainty of if your getting proper training? or the fact that ninjutsu wuld have been so well guarded by the people who trained in it back in the day?

I have grown interested in this martial art style and dojo since im moving to Japan in five months for training. it just seems that this martial art style and the dojo are marketed everywhere. you can take course at home instructional videos. Is it a style in which I can become strong in or is it just some big marketing tool?

I just finished watching ‘Ninja Assassin’ on Blu Ray, and even though the movie depicts the myths and legends that modern practitioners are trying to avoid, the movie did take me back to my high school days and the Sho Kosugi ninja movies of the time.

After watching the film, I dabbled into the special features and watched the segment on the myths and legends of ninjutsu.  To my surprise, 3 of the main pioneers of the art where interviewed for their expertise:

Bujinkan Grandmaster Masaaki Hatsumi

Shihan Richard Van Donk

To Shin Do Founder, and former Bujinkan student, Stephen K. Hayes.

Also giving his input is Hollywood ninja legend, Sho Kosugi.

Each gave a very informative interview about the art and the myths surrounding it.  Besides that, ‘Ninja Assassin’ is a totally kick ass movie.  Pretty graphic, but awesome!
